Boo is a filly that I purchased four years ago as a yearling. I started her when she was two years old for a career as my replacement reining horse. About 6 months into her training, she somehow came up lame.

Beware of online forums
Some of my thoughts on lameness. I was visiting a competitor's online equine health forum and came across a post from a novice horse owner who was asking for help. Apparently, the owner had a relatively new horse that having a gait issue. He reported that the horse didn't seem to be aware of it's back feet, and showed signs of lameness.
