Description

The ingredients include Nystatin, neomycin sulfate, thiostrepton, and triamcinolone, which are active against susceptible bacteria and yeast.

Usage

Panalog is used in the treatment of dermatitis, due to parasite infection, eczema, seborrhea, and inflammatory ear infections.

Dosage and Administration

Panalog is available in both cream and ointment forms. It should be used exactly as directed by a veterinarian. Application may range from once a day to once a week, or up to 2-3 times a day, depending on the severity of the condition. The skin or ear should be cleansed before use and the cream or ointment applied topically to the skin or the ear(s).

Side Effects

Side effects may include increased thirst and urination, vomiting, and diarrhea, due to sensitivity to corticosteroids. Sensitivity to neomycin may cause redness, irritation, and swelling.
