Thank you for your interest in potential careers with EquiMed. Virtually all employees of EquiMed get their start as contract writers, editors, or technical consultants. EquiMed is a low overhead company that takes the "virtual office" concept to its full realization. EquiMed maintains a small administrative office for accounting and business meeting purposes. The majority of EquiMed employees works from a home office.
How to Start
Authors
If you are a skilled writer with a background in writing equine health articles, we suggest that you begin by proving your skills by taking on contract writing assignments. Designers/Programmers
If you are a technical person, we often subcontract technical developments to skilled programmers and designers. You must have a high level of skill and experience in developing complex websites using Drupal, Javascript, HTML and PHP.
Sales
If you are a motivated salesperson with experience in media sales and familiar with equine publications, we are accepting resumes for a regional sales manager.
Job description includes:
- Contacting equine pharmaceutical companies and other equine health-care product companies to solicit online advertising
- Attending tradeshows and demonstrating EquiMed to attendees
- Contacting equine healthcare providers to solicit listings in the EquiMed Health Services section
