Vita Flex Nutrition is hosting an evening of top of the line equestrianism, education, and prizes during the 2012 FTI Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) to introduce the Vita Flex Victory Team.

The Vita Flex Victory Team Debut will take place on January 21st, 2012, beginning at 6:00 p.m., and run until the conclusion of the Grand Prix, which is held under the lights in the International Arena at WEF. The Vita Flex Victory Team is comprised of many world-class riders who regularly compete at WEF, including jumper riders Lauren Hough, Todd Minikus and Patty Stovel and hunter rider Peter Lombardo. Dressage riders Caroline Roffman, Susie Dutta, Lisa Wilcox and Shannon Dueck are also on the Vita Flex Victory Team. Other team members include eventer Jan Byyny, combined drivers Chester Weber and Suzy Stafford, barrel racers Tammy Fischer and Mary Ann Miller and reiners Bob Avila and Al Dunning.

“The Vita Flex Victory Team Debut will be a very exciting evening.  Everyone who attends the Grand Prix is invited to enjoy a pre-show exhibition by Vita Flex Victory Team members including Champion Reiner Bob Avila, who will give a reining performance, and USEF National Four-In-Hand Combined Driving Champion Chester Weber, who will drive a team of miniature horses in the International ring,” said Cherie White, brand manager for Vita Flex Nutrition.

In addition, an invitation only event held at the Wellington Club that night will feature dinner, a specially designed tack box full of Vita Flex® products that will be taken home by one lucky winner, information on new products in the Vita Flex® line, mingling with Vita Flex Victory Team members and a spectacular view of the Grand Prix jumping for which WEF has become famous.  Invitations containing a potentially winning key to the tack trunk full of Vita Flex® products will be distributed prior to the Debut.  Only one of these keys will open the tack trunk, choosing the winner.

“Everyone will have a great time trying their key to see if it opens the lock on the tack trunk, in hopes that they will walk away with the trunk full of Vita Flex® products,” White said.

The Winter Equestrian Festival, the world’s largest and longest running equestrian competition, has long been the home of world-class competitors and hosts 5,000 horses and 2,800 riders from 49 states and 30 countries.  “Vita Flex Nutrition is thrilled that the Vita Flex Victory Team will make their debut at WEF,” White said. “Many of the riders who endorse Vita Flex® products have represented the United States at international events, from the Olympics to World Championships.  The riders and trainers who support Vita Flex® products run the gamut of disciplines – from dressage, show jumpers, eventers, drivers and hunters to barrel racers and reining world champions.”

Vita Flex Nutrition is a strong supporter of the equestrian community. In addition to the Debut, Vita Flex also sponsors the Vita Flex Victory Pass Award during the Winter Equestrian Festival. The Vita Flex Victory Pass Award is presented to riders who win selected classes.  These winners receive an assortment of Vita Flex® products that have been researched and tested by equine nutritionists and veterinarians and relied upon for more than two decades by owners, trainers and top riders.
