Wanting to continue to ‘give back’ to the community that has fueled company growth, Zephyr’s Garden reaches equine rescue organizations with a unique program. It started with a simple Facebook post, “We want to be a part of your next fundraiser or event.  Let us know how we can help.”

Zephyr’s Garden reaches equine rescue organizations with a unique program.
New window.

From this modest beginning, Zephyr’s Garden has become the company that is associated not only with top natural products, but a company with a huge heart.  Giving back to the horse community is not a one-time event for Zephyr’s Garden, it’s engrained in the company culture.

“Our company has remained afloat in this tough economic environment, but I cannot say the same for many equine rescue groups,” states owner Georgette Topakas.  “The sheer volume of abused, abandoned and neglected horses is overwhelming and is not something I want to just read about in the news.  I want to help, even if it’s a little bit at a time.

Our new Pay It Forward Friday program highlights a new rescue group every month and we donate a percent of sales directly to them.  Through digital advertising, we tell the story of the rescue group to our customers and 5500 Facebook Fans and I can assure you our emails are opened and well received!

Our customers have given us wonderful feedback and it’s truly a win/win program as it encourages sales, provides additional exposure to the rescue group, and is simply good business for all of us!”

In addition, Zephyr’s Garden has been strong supporters of product donations and gift certificates to fund raisers and 4H groups.  For the 2011 season, Zephyr’s Garden donated to over thirty-five organizations, raised thousands of dollars in cash donations, and donated over $4,000 in product.  Bravo Zephyr’s Garden!

About Zephyr’s Garden

Zephyr’s Garden, LLC, launched four years ago with the goal of providing effective, herbal-based all natural products for horses, and now dogs.  Even in a downward economy, the company’s customer base has grown steadily and their product line has expanded to meet the needs of horse and dog owners that are saying “No!” to chemical laden treatments.  Their products cover most topical issues such as skin fungus, scratches, sweet itch, rain rot, seasonal itches, wounds, hot spots, and thrush

Made using only top quality natural ingredients, the product line includes salves, fly repellents, liniments, calmatives, hoof care products, and shampoos.  Stay tuned for four new product launches in 2012.  Located in Santa Barbara, CA, Zephyr’s Garden develops, tests, and produces all products in the United States.

Business degree. It's a busneiss after all and if you have experience with horses then having an equine degree really won't get you anywhere except more technical knowledge. Any feed company you choose have nutritionists that will evaluate a feeding program for you for free. Also, busneiss degrees open more doors to more jobs for when you discover the starting cost of a boarding barn and that banks aren't loaning any money right now. So you will have useful degree rather than a useless equine degree.

Jakub,

Thanks for your comment. It is food for thought for those considering what kind of a degree holds the best value.

Thank you
