A plastic coated traditional metal horse shoe that can be glued on instead of having to be nailed to the hoof appears to have great possibilities.

The new GluShu offers cushioning and an attractive solution to the traditional method of fitting shoes on horses. John Wright, with the help of Olympian equestrian team farrier, Jeffrey Newnham, designed the shoes that resemble the popular plastic sandals, Crocs, and has introduced them to the British horse owning public.

The shoes can be made in a variety of colors including the "hot" colors that are popular in fashion. The ease of application and the cushioning effect are making an impression on horse owners.

British farriers need not worry about losing business with these easy-to-apply shoes. By law, horse shoes in Britain must be fitted by a professional.
