Two weeks after an outbreak Equine Herpes Virus (EHV-1) began at a show in Utah, horse owners throughout the West continue to sift through the rumors about the disease and the safety of their horses. To help owners distinguish fact from fiction as well as provide an expert perspective on the situation, EQUUS magazine is offering a free, interactive webinar, “Understanding EHV-1: Knowledge is Contagious,” this Thursday, May 26 at 8 p.m. EST.

In an interactive session, EQUUS Medical Editor Joe Bertone, DVM, MS, DACVIM will present an overview of the virus and answer questions from horse owners. “With Joe, we’re fortunate to have someone who is familiar with both the latest research on EHV and the practical aspects of the controlling the virus’s spread throughout equine populations,” says EQUUS Editor Laurie Prinz.

Register now, as space is limited. Send in questions before the webinar or ask questions during the event on the 26th.
