A 5-year-old girl was treated at a Georgia hospital this weekend after she was reportedly bitten by a horse she attempted to pet while posing for a photo.
When she reached through a fence to pet the horse behind the ear, the animal reportedly bit the girl on the abdomen and attempted to pull her through the fence.
The Aiken Public Safety officer called to investigate said he saw a bruise on the child's abdomen that appeared to be consistent with a bite. The officer noted in his report that the child had marks on her back where she may have struck the fence.
