Trainer Patrick Shaw saddled QUECHUA to victory in the $1,350,000.00 Longines Singapore Gold Cup (gr. I) at Singapore racecourse on Sunday, making two Gold Cup wins for the conditioner. Shaw - who protects all his Thoroughbred runners with a FLAIR Strip - was all smiles after the race. “This was the big one we’ve long planned for this horse, and this is my second Gold Cup and the second time I’ve finished first and second, “stated the South African native. In addition to the Gold Cup, Shaw saddled two additional winners on the program.

At Kenilworth racecourse in Cape Town, South Africa, TEVEZ won the R400 000 Cape Merchants (gr. II) for the second year in-a-row. In addition to the winner, trainer Mike Bass saddled the third and fourth finishers. In Brazil on Sunday, AMOR GITANO won The Grande Prêmio Associação Brasileira dos Criadores e Proprietários do Cavalo de Corrida at the Jockey Club do Rio Grande do Sul.

On Saturday, Mark Casse trained GALINA POINT scored a game win in the $125,000.00 South Ocean at Woodbine racecourse in Toronto, Canada. The oval’s leading conditioner followed up on Sunday with a win in the $232,000.00 Bessarabian (gr. II) with Stonestreet Stables’ HILLABY. Also on Saturday, trainer Brian Lynch saddled HEART TO HEART to a win in the $115,300.00 Commonwealth Turf (gr. III) at Churchill Downs. The diminutive son of English Channel set a new stakes record while winning the region’s final graded stakes race on turf for 3-year-olds.

Flair LLC would also like to salute all the competitors in Adelaide Australia’s premier Three-Day Event -- The Australian International  -- who protected their equine athletes with a FLAIR Strip. We also congratulate– in the CCI4* division -- Jessica Manson, who rode LEGAL STAR to her first CCI4* victory, and Megan Jones, who rode KIRBY PARK ALLOFASUDDEN to a close second. 

In the CCI2* division, Flair LLC congratulates Christine Bates and KUNG FU PANDA GP, and Megan Jones and KIRBY PARK INVADER on their second and third place finishes, respectively.
