A therapy horse in Loveland, Colorado, has a chronic medical condition in need of ongoing medical care. The nonprofit is seeking community members to sponsor the horse and help pay for his medical expenses..The 15-year-old gelding has been a part of Loveland’s Hearts and Horses team for three years, where he and other horses provide therapy and friendship to disabled community members.

The horse, who has helped many, is in need of assistance himself. He has has a chronic bladder problem that needs continuous medical attention.

While the condition is not curable, it is treatable.  The needed medications and medical attention cost between  $2,000 and $3,000 a year.

The non profit simply does not have enough funds to be able to pay for the needed medication attention and hopes that the community will help sponsor the horse so that he can remain a part of a very important therapy program.
