Freedom Health LLC, manufacturers of SUCCEED® Digestive Conditioning Program®, announced the introduction of a new veterinary-only formula of the popular equine digestive supplement. The new veterinary formula, which will be available initially in an oral paste, will likely begin shipping in June.

The new veterinary-exclusive formula is designed to address the higher nutrient and energy levels of horses facing the most rigorous challenges of modern care and feeding. Marketed under the label “SUCCEED Veterinary Formula” (“SUCCEED VF”), the new product will offer all the benefits of original SUCCEED, with additional ingredients to provide omega-3 fatty acids, and to support the integrity of the mucosal lining throughout the digestive tract.

The new SUCCEED Veterinary Formula extends the SUCCEED family, giving veterinarians an exclusive offering for their equine patients requiring ongoing digestive health support.
SUCCEED VF joins the SUCCEED® Equine Fecal Blood Test™ (FBT) as products Freedom Health offers exclusively through the veterinarian channels. The SUCCEED FBT is a diagnostic aid designed to give practitioners a quick, stall side method to detect pathological conditions of the digestive tract in their equine patients, including gastric and colonic ulceration. Veterinarians can obtain both SUCCEED VF and the SUCCEED FBT through major veterinary supply distributors, including Butler Schein Animal Health, Milburn Equine, Webster Veterinary, MWI Animal Health, Midwest Veterinary Supply and Animal Health International.
The original SUCCEED formula will continue to be available at tack and feed stores, as well as veterinarians, across the United States. (SUCCEED is also available in the United Kingdom and a few other countries.)
