Omega Fields, a leading innovator in the manufacture of premium equine nutrition products, has announced a strategic educational and marketing partnership with Parelli Natural Horsemanship.

Known for its horse training expertise that combines equine psychology and common sense communication techniques between horse and rider, the Parelli method trains equine owners of all levels to achieve equestrian success and enjoyment without force, dominance or coercion in handling their horses.

Omega Fields is the first manufacturer in the animal health industry to use human-grade, non-GMO stabilized ground flaxseed, rich in fiber and antioxidants, and containing the optimum ratio of the full spectrum of Omega 3, 6, and 9 Fatty Acids for equine, goat, canine, poultry and human nutrition. The innovative use of flaxseed milled with a unique stabilization technology ensure long shelf life and superior quality for Omega Fields’ products.

“I'm excited to be using Omega Horseshine® with my horses,” says Linda Parelli, co-founder of PNH. I've always believed in the benefits of flaxseed oil, but now it's easier than ever to feed this nutritious supplement to our horses and offer the extra benefit of the whole seed, not just the oil,” The addition of yeast in Omega Horseshine® is also a convenience, Parelli points out. “Now I don't have to feed it separately; and. my horses love Omega Horseshine® and continue to shine on, from the inside out.”

Parelli is often asked what she feeds her horses. “But the explanations can be quite complex,” she says, “and nutritional advice is not my expertise.” She generally doesn’t use commercial nutrition products, preferring to mix feeds herself with oils, kelp and minerals.  Feeding Omega Horseshine® is a first for her. “And it’s a decision I did not make lightly – in fact, my horses were a big part of the decision making!”

Through this partnership – based on a strong foundation of humane concern for the animals –   Omega Fields and Parelli hope to amplify their shared message that when horses are treated with love, care and knowledge everyone’s lives are enriched. The primary goal of the alliance, notes Omega Fields president Sean F. Moriarty, is to integrate Parelli’s natural approach to horsemanship with his company’s natural approach to horse nutrition.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Pat and Linda Parelli and the entire team of truly inspiring people and horses at Parelli Natural Horsemanship,” said Moriarty. “Our core messages are a great fit, our business cultures are a great fit and we believe that expanding our marketing efforts to reach the Parelli members and fans will be great for both of our companies.”

Parelli Natural Horsemanship also views the alliance with Omega Fields as exciting. “My horses are known for how healthy they are and how great they always look,” Linda says, “and knowing that Omega Horseshine® will enhance what I've already got going is very exciting.  I look forward to sharing this with our students and customers.”

Both Omega Fields and Parelli Natural Horsemanship anticipate a mutually beneficial, long-lasting relationship.  “Certainly our philosophy is the same: to help the world become a better place for horses,” says Parelli adding,   “Omega Fields through nutrition and ours through educating horse lovers in natural, psychology-based horsemanship training.”
