The Network for Horse Sports, will give racing fans a special holiday treat, when it offers an entertaining block of Christmas Eve programming, on Monday, December 24, beginning at Noon ET.

HRTV will unveil three hours of original shows, designed to preview the upcoming 2013 racing campaign, as well assess the upcoming Eclipse Awards.

HRTV will unveil three hours of original shows, designed to preview the upcoming 2013 racing campaign, as well assess the upcoming Eclipse Awards, and recap an outstanding 2012 racing season.

A one-hour show, the HRTV 2013 Winter Preview Show, will open the block at Noon ET and prepare racing fans for outstanding coast-to-coast racing for the winter season. Network hosts will take fans through stakes schedules from top-flight racetracks, including Santa Anita Park, Gulfstream, Fair Grounds, Oaklawn, Aqueduct and Golden Gate.

Additionally, viewers will get an early sneak peak at the 3-year-old picture, and the recently-instituted points system, which will determine the Kentucky Derby field.

Immediately following, HRTV will unveil Pursuit of the 2012 Eclipse Awards at 1 p.m. ET.  Laffit Pincay, Gary Stevens, Jeff Siegel, Richard Migliore, and others, will discuss the probable nominees for the "Horse of the Year," as well as look at many contentious battles for divisional honors.

Following the awards overviews, HRTV Rewind: 2012 Year In Review (4 p.m. ET), includes HRTV talent reminiscing about their favorite moments from the past year. Among those HRTV voices delivering their favorite recollections from this past season are Pincay, Siegel, Peter Lurie, Aaron Vercruysse, Scott Hazelton, and Millie Ball.
