The American Horse Council’s 1st Qtr. 2019 webinar will be held on Monday, February 11, 2019 from 3:00 – 4:00 PM ET and will focus on the recent transformation of the Unwanted Horse Coalition (UHC) to the United Horse Coalition, which reflects the industry’s unity around the importance of aftercare, and the progress and extensive resources that have come to fruition since the UHC’s inception in 2006.

Speakers will include:
- UHC Chair, Kristin Leshney, on the new mission and vision of the Coalition,
- AHC President, Julie Broadway, and the newly named UHC Director, Ashley Harkins, on the new strategic plan and operational initiatives, and
- EWDC Program manager, Emily Stearns, on the UHC’s Equine Welfare Data Collective initiative.
The webinar is open to both AHC members and non-members—we encourage everyone to attend! The webinar lasts approximately one hour, and will allow for Q&A at the end of each speaker’s presentation.
