Just in time for holiday gift buying, photographer Barbara O'Brien (Barbara O'Brien Photography), whose monthly articles and beautiful photographs grace every issue of Omega Fields' monthly Health-E-Letter, is once again offering collections of her photography in beautiful and functional calendar form with a portion of the proceeds going to help rescued horses and cats.
O'Brien's 2012 collection of three calendars features original photographs of galloping horses, inquisitive felines, or chickens doing what chickens do, all shot in Barbara's own special style. The beautiful, large (11.5" x 24", unfolded), wall-size calendars are titled "Horseplay", "Barn Cats", and "Chickens, Light and Dark."
A portion of the proceeds will go to help support the many horses the O'Briens have adopted from Gentle Spirit Horse Rescue, Sioux Falls, SD and Forever Morgans Rescue, Monroe, NY, as well as cats rescued from local animal shelters and now enjoying happy cats' lives on the O'Brien farm in Stockholm, Wisconsin.
Besides being a well regarded animal photographer, Barbara O'Brien owns The Animal Connection, an animal actor's agency, where she finds and trains animals of all kinds for the film and video industry. Additionally, she is a Spokesperson and writer for Omega Fields.
