The Crusade Against Equine Colic, presented by SUCCEED, is looking for equestrians to partner with them during "Equine Colic Awareness Month" in June 2013.

By doing so, and sharing their efforts with the Crusade Against Equine Colic, they will be entered into a drawing to win a free registration to a Colic Prevention eWorkshop presented by Equine Guelph.

Partners in Colic Awareness Month can share tips and education from the Crusade Against Equine Colic website (www.coliccrusade.com), post links, and direct people to the Crusade website, Facebook page, Twitter account and email list, and write and share their own unique colic related content.

Equine Guelph, a center serving the horse and the horse industry through education, research, healthcare promotion and industry development, has named 2013 the Year of Colic Prevention. The organization, based at the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada, is offering a short two-week online course designed to help horse owners understand colic and take preventative measures by following good stable management practices.

The Crusade Against Equine Colic is giving one partner free access to this online short course, a $75 (Canadian) value. The eWorkshop is a 15-20 hour web-based course, including offline assignments, which will run from September 23 to October 6, 2013.

Upon completion of the workshop, participants will receive a certificate of completion from Equine Guelph. For more information on Equine Guelph and the Colic Prevention eWorkshop, visit the Equine Guelph website at www.equineguelph.ca.

All Colic Awareness Month partners will receive a free “My Horse is a Colic-Free Zone” bumper sticker. The Crusade Against Equine Colic will also promote content from partners’ websites, blogs and other social media channels.

Equestrians can become partners today by sharing and promoting Colic Awareness Month and registering on the Crusade Against Equine Colic website at: http://www.coliccrusade.com/become-an-equine-colic-awareness-month-partner/. One winner of the free Colic Prevention e-Workshop will be selected randomly from all eligible entries.
