The Edge – Bruce Anderson Natural Humanship – showcases Anderson’s belief that man's capacity to reduce the wild is the cause and effect of mental imbalance. As a boy, Anderson spent most of his time in "Mother Nature's classroom" learning key tools to balance the mindset; be more AlphA.
The impact that horses have had on his life is fundamental to his work which uses a 1000 pound animal to deliver an epiphany: you are merely a steward of this earth. Anderson and filmmaker Julianne Neal will be available to talk about how the horse-human relationship can be a form of therapy for both horse and human. Trailer:https://vimeo.com/161533904
Li’l Herc Family Fest offers the opportunity for young kids and their families to come and enjoy the film festival for FREE on Saturday morning, November 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The movie being shown is the above mentioned film Apple of My Eye.
This FREE family morning is named after Li’l Herc, the star in a book debuting this year called Li’l Herc® The Power of Kindness, written by Suzanne Kopp-Moskow and illustrated by Beatrice M. Bulteau. The story is about a young girl struggling physically and emotionally due to a chronic medical condition.
It’s the type of book that would appeal to a wide audience because of its message of kindness and compassion. It also reflects part of the real life author’s story that she lived through as a young girl. Interviews with Kopp-Moskow can be arranged as well as copies of the book.
