In addition to its online social media coverage, Practical Horseman is once again sponsoring a “Highlights of Rolex Kentucky Cross-County Course Walk” with eventing legend and Practical Horseman columnist Jim Wofford. The walk will meet at Fence 7 on Friday, April 26, at 4 p.m.
Participants will enjoy an educational and entertaining review of this year’s course, designed by Derek Di Grazia, and attendees will have a chance to win great prizes. For anyone not attending in person, a video interview with Jim about the course will be posted on Facebook and Twitter around the same time as his course walk.
“The Practical Horseman cross-country course walk is one of the highlights of the Rolex weekend for me,” said Jim. “I am always impressed by the number of participants and by their keen interest. Their questions tell me that they are sincerely interested in learning more about our wonderful sport. It is a privilege to be with fans like that.”
Jim also will be signing copies of his new book, Modern Gymnastics, at the Practical Horseman booth in Sponsor Village during the lunch break on Friday and Saturday. Eventer Allison Springer, who appears on the cover photo of the book, will be joining him.
