With the advent of Good Horsekeeping, buyers of equine products for use with their horses have a source where they can check out advertising claims about products for equines. Three products have now been added to those with the seal of approval from Good Horsekeeping:

Cowboy Magic, Majesty Calm Wafers & Sore No More’s “The Sauce” have received Horse Cent$ Magazine’s Good Horsekeeping Product Approval, according to the magazine’s publisher Laurie Cerny. “All three products are well-deserving of the Good Horsekeeping Product Approval,” Cerny said.  “These products do their job and surpass other products in their category.”

The Sauce was credited for being a versatile healing aid –especially in treating thrush and rain rot.

Cowboy Magic was praised for keeping manes and tails healthy and in show-ring quality when used as little as 2-3 times a week.

Majesty Calm Wafers was one of more than a half dozen calming products tried that actually worked.  When tested on a mare with extreme “show” anxiety it made her more manageable and thwarted stall weaving during a competition weekend.

Equine product manufacturers can have their products tested for Good Horsekeeping Approval, and featured in an upcoming issue of Horse Cent$ Magazine and on the magazine’s companion website.  Products are tested for 30 days before being featured.  Once a product receives the Good Horsekeeping Approval manufacturers can use the approval seal in their advertising.  For more information email horsecentsmagazine@gmail.com.
