HRTV will again combine with A Good Show to present the live stream, while providing expert commentary throughout the day, complete with rider interviews, class coverage, and compelling special interest horse stories.
HRTV.com's live stream of the "richest event in show jumping" will be sponsored by Tack Room Inc.com, which has been the premier source for riding equipment, clothing and accessories in Central Pennsylvania for nearly 20 years.
"Thanks to the caliber of athletes involved, the championship breeding of the horses, and the reputation of Zoetis, this is easily the most prestigious event we've had the opportunity to participate in," said Eva Linke, president of Tack Room Inc.com. "We're thrilled to be able to sponsor this event."
HRTV will again combine with A Good Show to present the live stream, while providing expert commentary throughout the day, complete with rider interviews, class coverage, and compelling special interest stories.
They will also produce a full-length, one-hour television show of the Grand Prix, which will air on HRTV in October.
Among the established stars expected to compete is last year's winner, the legendary McLain Ward, along with a number of U.S. standouts, including Margie Engle, a 10-time Rider of the Year, as well as 2004 Olympic gold medalist Peter Wylde. In addition, Canada's Jill Henselwood, a 2008 Olympic silver medalist in Beijing, is also among the star-studded field.
Mike Moran will again take to the Grand Prix Stadium at HITS Saugerties to provide expert commentary. Joining Moran will be the Peter Leone, the 1996 Olympic silver medalist in show jumping, along with HRTV's talented, and versatile, Caton Bredar, who will provide round-by-round coverage of the competition and on-camera interviews with many of the featured performers.
As an added bonus, HRTV.com will also offer an event-long stream of HITS $30,000 SmartPak Wild Card Grand Prix, presented by Zoetis, this Friday at 2 p.m. ET. This match offers competitors a final opportunity to qualify for Sunday's Grand Prix.
