Equine veterinarians will grow their toolbox of field medicine diagnostic techniques and treatment strategies when the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) presents Focus on Field Medicine, August 1–3 at the C. Wayne McIlwraith Translational Medicine Institute at Colorado State University.

Small-group wet labs will reinforce key lecture principles in the areas of lameness, joint blocks and joint therapies, cervical and stifle imaging, and ophthalmology.

This immersive learning experience offers 20 CE credits (18 in-person) and features small-group wet labs that reinforce key lecture principles in the areas of lameness, joint blocks and joint therapies, cervical and stifle imaging, and ophthalmology. The meeting features a small student-to-instructor ratio to amplify learning and acquisition of take-home skills.

Attendance is limited to 60 participants to ensure optimal training and skills development; all spots are filled on a first-come basis. The AAEP-member registration rate is $1,395.
