The American Association of Professional Farriers (AAPF) is pleased to announce that USRider Equestrian Motor Plan has agreed to form a Marketing Education Alliance.  Through this alliance USRider will be supporting the AAPF’s mission of promoting the integrity of the farrier industry by strengthening the knowledge and skills of its members through continuing education.  In turn, the AAPF will be providing USRider with access to its members for emergency farrier services.

Farriers and USRider join forces to provide access for better services.

USRider is the only company ever to provide emergency roadside assistance for horse owners. Through their Equestrian Motor Plan, USRider provides nationwide roadside assistance and towing services along with other travel-related benefits to its Members. The plan includes standard features such as flat-tire repair, battery assistance and lockout services, plus towing up to 100 miles and roadside repairs for tow vehicles and trailers with horses. Plus, USRider maintains a national database that includes emergency stabling, veterinary and farrier referrals if needed by its Members.

“With thousands of active equestrians as Members who are often miles from home, they may find themselves in the need of the services of a farrier,” said Bill Riss, general manager of USRider. “Members of the AAPF will be “on call” to provide professional services when referred by USRider.”

“The addition of USRider as an alliance expands our reach to equestrians throughout the United States and Canada,” said Jeff Ridley APF CJF TE, President of AAPF. “USRider’s commitment to the horse owning public is well documented.  We believe that the formation of this alliance will not only provide USRider Members with access to professional farriers, it will allow the AAPF to promote access to its new “Hoofcare Essentials™” – an online resource for horse owners concerned about hoofcare.  Additional details about Hoofcare Essentials can be found on the AAPF website – ProfessionalFarriers.com
