Thanks to the countless horse rescues that have undertaken the Herculean task of caring for so many neglected, abused, or malnourished/starving horses: To spotlight the great work they are doing and to provide financial support for these endeavors, author Cindy McCauley has donated ten percent of the profit from each copy of Ivory Pal: Born to Fly Higher ~ beyond the blue ribbons, as well as a matching personal donation, to the following horse rescues: Proud Spirit Horse Sanctuary, Lincolnton, GA; Beauty's Haven Equine Rescue, Morriston, FL; Last Chance Corral, Athens, OH; and  Horse Haven of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN.

Author McCauley plans to continue donations from the sale of Ivory Pal books in 2014 with new deserving rescues to be named in the coming months and encourages horse lovers to get involved in some way with their favorite horse rescues.

To celebrate the successful first year of this program, the author will send a donation from the proceeds of any copy of Ivory Pal: Born to Fly Higher sold during the months of October - December to Proud Spirit Horse Sanctuary, co-founded by Melanie and Jim Bowles, a sanctuary where rescued horses join the herd and never leave. Support is crucial to maintain this herd of over 50 horses.

McCauley plans to continue donations from the sale of Ivory Pal books in 2014 with new deserving rescues to be named in the coming months and encourages horse lovers to get involved in some way with their favorite horse rescues.
