The Sanctuary Equine Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation Center of Ocala has been in the celebrity (laser) light. Lite Cure, LLC, makers of Pegasus and Companion Lasers for equines and large/small animals, sent a production crew to The Sanctuary in late January to dedicate a day to taping use of their 12-watt lasers on clients, collecting testimonials, and interviewing veterinarians including Dr. Lisa Miller of Orlando.

Brenda McDuffee, General Manager of The Sanctuary, said, “The Lite Cure crew taped all over the facility, each interview was in a different setting. They chose to shoot their footage at The Sanctuary because of our reputation in rehabilitation, and success using their lasers.
“We were happy to host the video crew at The Sanctuary. Lite Cure is well known for standing behind their clients and we have been working with Lite Cure since 2007 when we first purchased the lasers. They are a respected leader in the laser market and animal care industries.”
Sharing an ongoing commitment to educating horse care professionals, The Sanctuary and Lite Cure LLC work in harmony including hosting continuing education courses for veterinarians at the Ocala equine rehabilitation center in April, and sending staff from The Sanctuary to professional conferences to discuss the success they have had using the lasers in rehabilitation and preventative medicine.
“Working together is what great horse care is all about,” McDuffee said. “The Sanctuary was happy to host Lite Cure for a day, and provide them with the kind of hands-on, insightful footage, case studies, and testimonials that will provide online information about laser therapy for those who have horses and other animals in their care.”
