Omega Fields® ECIR NO Laminitis! Conference

Omega Fields® is a proud GOLD LEVEL sponsor of the first annual ECIR NO Laminitis! Conference, to be held August 5-7, 2011 at DeMario Farms in Canastota, NY.

Since their beginning in 1999, the worldwide ECIR Group of volunteers has fostered education and research about Equine Cushing’s and Insulin Resistance diseases, and helped owners recognize and prevent endocrinopathic (hormonal/metabolic) related laminitis. Laminitis is central to the ECIR Group because it has historically been a precursor to EC and IR.

Kellon’s topics will include: The History of Equine Insulin Resistance, How Cushing’s and Insulin Resistance Differ, and Achieving Optimum Health and Outcome through Correct Diagnosis, Diet, Trim, and Exercise.
