Horse Health College, sponsored by Pfizer Animal Health, is a partnership to provide a unique interactive educational opportunity for horse owners to learn about horse health. Horse Health College is open to anyone with an interest in caring for horses and is completely free.

Horse Health College is an eight- month program with a comprehensive curriculum that includes coursework on deworming, joint care and equine health basics, giving horse owners the foundation they need to understand and maintain good health for their horses. Each course includes a reading assignment plus additional materials that will help prepare students for the quiz necessary to pass each class.

“Each month, visitors will learn essential horse health information from vets and other equine experts. At the same time, they’ll be working toward a diploma that will qualify them for the Horse Health College grand prize drawing,” says Elizabeth Moyer, dean of Horse Health College and editor of Horse Illustrated and HorseChannel.com. “From preventive care to handling a crisis, we’ll bring horse owners the tools and knowledge to keep their horses healthy.”

To graduate, students must complete all eight courses and receive a score of 60% or higher in each course. Each qualifying graduate will receive a Horse Health College diploma and will also be entered in the drawing to win a Pfizer prize package, along with access to downloadable coupons for Pfizer products.
