Pony Club Offers Educational Opportunities and Presents Test at 2016 IEA National Finals

The United States Pony Clubs, Inc. is proud to present the written test for the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) National Finals in both Hunt Seat and Western.

The United States Pony Clubs, Inc. is proud to present the written test for the Interscholastic Equestrian Association National Finals in both Hunt Seat and Western on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Kentucky Horse Park’s Alltech Arena.

The Holy Innocents’ Horsemanship and Horseman’s Knowledge Tests – presented by The United States Pony Clubs, Inc. will take place during the 2016 National Finals on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Kentucky Horse Park’s Alltech Arena in Lexington, Kentucky.

The Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School Horsemanship Test and The Horseman’s Knowledge Test were created to promote and acknowledge horse care among Interscholastic Equestrian Association athletes.

They are intended to compliment the Interscholastic Equestrian Association’s mission to educate younger equestrians in all areas of equestrian studies and focuses on the belief that horsemanship always comes first. The United States Pony Clubs, Inc. is proud to support the Interscholastic Equestrian Association in their goal to foster and educate well-rounded horse people.

Pony Club’s Equine Educational Exhibit will be set-up during the event. The educational traveling display is designed to share the passion of horses with adults and youth through interactive fun, and provide participants with an experience leading to future interactions with horses and ponies. It offers hands-on educational stations made from authentic equine components such as actual grooming and tack items.

Additionally, Pony Club will be presenting several topics as part of the IEA’s Speaker Symposium. The educational symposium is open to the public starting Thursday, April 21st through Sunday, April 24th. Pony Club will be presenting “Riding Centers & USPC –make your job coaching easier” at 10 am on Thursday, April 21st.

On Friday, April 22nd Pony Club is offering a “Study Session for the Written Test” at 9 am and discussing “Opportunities available with Pony Club” at 3 pm. Sessions are open to all age groups and anyone interested in learning more or getting involved in Pony Club.
