Practical Horseman, in partnership with Finish Line, Back on Track and Nutrena, wants to give you a chance to win a clinic for you and up to nine of your friends with two-time Olympic show-jumping silver medalist Anne Kursinski. This isn’t just any clinic—Anne will come to you!

To enter to win, write an essay of 250 words or less describing why you deserve to win the clinic. To submit your entry, go to PracticalHorsemanMag.com/WinAClinic. Ten finalists will be selected to submit videos of themselves and their horses, and a winner will be chosen from among the finalists. Anne will give the clinic at the winner’s barn or a suitable local facility.

“At Practical Horseman Magazine, we strive to provide our readers with riding lessons in print,” said Editor Sandra Oliynyk. “This contest allows us to offer a real-life lesson with an Olympic rider. Anne is a longtime friend of the magazine, and she is a successful classically trained rider with a tremendous amount of knowledge. We’re excited to give a lucky winner this once-in-a-lifetime experience riding with her.”

Anne, a five-time Olympian, is one of the United States’ most accomplished and respected show-jumping athletes. She is known for her fluid, classical American riding style. She trains and teaches out of her premiere equestrian facility, Market Street, in New Jersey.
The 10 finalists will receive a copy of Anne’s book, Anne Kursinski's Riding and Jumping Clinic.

This book lays out the key elements of her riding techniques, including her secrets of analyzing jumper courses and her strategies for riding them. Whether you aspire to ride hunters or jumpers, Anne’s unparalleled book will improve your chances of success. The book is available for purchase on HorseBooksEtc.com.

The contest is now open and will close on February 17, 2014. For more information and to enter, go to PracticalHorsemanMag.com/WinAClinic.
