Professional Farriers Reach 500 Member Milestone

The American Association of Professional Farriers (AAPF) and Canadian Association of Professional Farriers (CAPF) are pleased to announce that Mr. Marcus Martinez APF CF has joined as member number 500.

The primary objectives of the Professional Farriers Associations are promoting continuing education, providing member support and serving as a hoof-care reference for horse owners.

Martinez is a farrier for the New York Police Department Mounted Unit.  He has been shoeing horses since 1998 and resides in Congers, New York.

The American and Canadian Associations of Professional Farriers are non-profit trade organizations created in 2012 to represent the interests of professional farriers and others involved in the farrier industry. 

The primary objectives of the new associations are: promoting continuing education, providing member support and serving as a hoof-care reference for horse owners.  The American Association of Professional Farriers and Canadian Association of Professional Farriers is headquartered in Shelbyville, Kentucky.  For additional information about the organizations, please visit ProfessionalFarriers.com.
