In an unprecedented gesture to assist in the Shamrock PATH rides, ACTHA sponsor, Ride Alert, has contributed a full 12 months of free, potentially lifesaving services, to EVERY ENTRANT participating in the Shamrock PATH events.

Ride Alert stores your important contact and medical details on a secure database, which can be accessed by any emergency rescue service or physician 24/7 through the Ride Alert Support Service. In an emergency the time saved by having virtually immediate access to this data could very well have lifesaving consequences, as well as avoiding inflammatory medications and unnecessary stress to family and friends.

David Hasbury-Snogles, President of Ride Alert said, “We have been a supporter of ACTHA for some time now and are always impressed by the huge projects they undertake for the benefit of the Country’s horses (and Riders). When we heard about the latest quest to help out the PATH International Centers we just felt we had to contribute in any way we could."

"Lives are changed and bodies strengthened every day at PATH Intl. Centers in over 850 communities, and its certified professionals make a difference in the lives of 56,000 children and adults with physical, cognitive and emotional challenges every year.  What better than to provide the priceless peace of mind that comes from having a Ride Alert family registration to all those riders, organizers, family, friends and students involved in this great project.”

This is truly stunning in that the Shamrock PATH Rides could very well entail over 40,000 in the above categories. That's quite a contribution. The cost of data entry alone is staggering, and EVERY entrant, whether ACTHA member or not, will automatically receive the gift.

There is an equally incredible second phase to Ride Alert's donation!

Ride Alert is providing an optional, unique ID wristband with their annual registration for around $12. In keeping with the spirit of this dramatic show of support for ACTHA and The Shamrock PATH events, should any rider recipient purchase one of these bands after completing their registration, Ride Alert will award a PATH Student, a free year of their service, including their very own unique ID wristband!

Essentially every PATH Ride entrant can buy one for themselves and at the same time give one absolutely free to a deserving PATH Student!

These unobtrusive custom wristbands both celebrate and memorialize the Shamrock PATH events everywhere. They also grant immediate ID profile access. While Ride Alert access to contacts and medical details are available without the use of a wristband, potential time gaps are all but eliminated with the visual impact the wristband presents.

Just one Toll-free call to the 24/7 Support Service shown on the wristband and you or your Student beneficiary’s records await.

"Is the horse industry amazing or what?" concludes Robin Tilghman, ACTHA's Chief Operating Officer.
