The Mustang Heritage Foundation and Twister Trailer have joined forces as corporate partners. The Mustang Heritage Foundation is proud to have the premier trailer company in the equine industry working with it to promote Mustang adoptions as a sponsor of Extreme Mustang Makeover events and other Foundation programs.

Twister Trailer Vice President Jim Smith says, “We took notice of the growth and popularity of these events. It is quite amazing what these animals and the trainers can accomplish in such a short time frame!  Like the Mustangs, Twister trailers are quality American products, and we are glad to help the Mustang Heritage Foundation find homes for these great horses.”

“Twister Trailer is a leader in the trailer industry and a standout manufacturer that is trusted and pulled by some of the top professionals in the equine industry so we are honored to have them support America’s Mustangs through our Foundation.”

In 2007, the Mustang Heritage launched the Extreme Mustang Makeover events, which are competitions that involve wild horses being trained in 90-120 days. Dubbed as the ultimate training competitions, the Extreme Mustang Makeover events give the trainers just a few months to gain a wild horse’s trust so that they can be haltered and eventually ridden in the competitions.

In Addition to the popular Extreme Mustang Makeover events, the Mustang Heritage Foundation also has gentled Mustangs available for adoption through its Trainer Incentive Program. The Foundation also hosts youth training competitions and educational programs such as camps to engage America’s youth in the plight of the wild horses.
