Your Horse’s Health Depends on You—A Day of Learning in Canada

Newsdate: Mon 25 July 2016 – 9:00 am

The horse depends on its owner for care, attention, a safe environment, exercise, and the most fundamental element, a diet that supplies his nutritional needs. His vibrant health begins with the human—and on that person’s ability to calculate the nutritional value of his feed and how that affects his health.

Better horse health through knowledge

Your horse's vibrant health depends on your ability to calculate the nutritional value of his feed and how that affects his health. Join Dr. Getty, renowned equine nutritionist to learn how to optimize your equine's health.

On September 10, 2016, the Canadian Horse Journal and Hay…Girl! will host Dr. Juliet M. Getty at Greystone Stables in Delta, British Columbia for two programs focused on empowering the horseperson with exactly that knowledge:

Morning Seminar: Making Your Horse’s Health a Reality (9-11 a.m.)

This talk will center on how to view the horse as a whole animal and appreciate how his/her physical and mental state impacts performance and behavior. The horse’s body is capable of guarding against and healing itself of many diseases and conditions when offered the support it requires. Dr. Getty’s approach is logical and easy to understand.

Afternoon Workshop:Empowerment with Numbers (1-3 p.m.)

To reserve a spot and get more information, contact Pam at Hay…Girl! (www.haygirl.ca) at precioushaygirl@gmail.com or 604-961-7265. The cost is $40 for the morning presentation or $70 for both. Lunch is included in full-day registration. A minimum number of paid participants is necessary for the event to be held; the reservation deadline is August 20.
