Zoetis continues its sponsorship of the Equine Industry Vision Award and AHP Student Award Party for 2014. “These are two of AHP’s most rewarding programs,” says Chris Brune, AHP Executive Director, “as one recognizes vision and the other supports the future of our industry.”
For over 20 years, Zoetis, formerly Pfizer Animal Health, has supported AHP student programs by sponsoring the Student Award Party at which funds are raised through a silent auction.
Now in its 13th year, the Equine Industry Vision Award was founded in 2002 when a partnership between Pfizer Animal Health and American Horse Publications was formed to establish this award that recognizes innovation, leadership and service in the equine industry. The winners of this prestigious award have been true visionaries who have left indelible marks in the equine world.
The Student Award, which began in 1993, was initiated to promote awareness to students of the career opportunities available in equine publishing. “This program not only offers students a chance to learn about a career they may be passionate about, but it has also given equine publishing a long list of talented young people who are an asset to our industry and our association,” says Brune.
For over 20 years, Zoetis, formerly Pfizer Animal Health, has supported AHP student programs by sponsoring the Student Award Party at which funds are raised through a silent auction. This year’s party will be held on June 21 during the AHP Gallop n’ Grits Seminar in Charleston, South Carolina.
The partnership between AHP and Zoetis demonstrates how the equine industry can work together to promote achievements and provide career opportunities in the equine industry.
