Returning for its seventh year, Zoetis is continuing to partner with its veterinarian and dealer customers to support agricultural and veterinary students around the country through its Industry Support Program which donated $1.3 million in 2014.
Financial aid for students with equine and bovine interests
Zoetis is now directing a portion of funds from eligible purchases of cattle and equine products to local FFA chapters and/or veterinary student scholarships on behalf of local veterinarians and animal health suppliers.
Through April 30, 2015, a portion of funds from eligible purchases of cattle and equine products from Zoetis will be directed to local FFA chapters and/or veterinary student scholarships through the American Association of Bovine Practitioners (AABP) and American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) foundations on behalf of local veterinarians and animal health suppliers.
In previous years, more than 1,000 veterinarian and dealer customers from across the country have participated in the program.
Support for Agricultural Students
In 2014, Canyon FFA from Texas received support from the Industry Support Program to help fund chapter programs.
âFFA students around the country are making a difference to improve the agriculture industry, and the donations offered to them can leave a lasting effect on people and communities,â said Jeff Klose, an agriculture science teacher and department chair of career and technical education at Canyon High School in Texas. âThe money from the Zoetis Industry Support Program helps students inform the public about agriculture.â

John David Nicholson, a recent graduate from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine, has seen the impact this Zoetis program and an AABP Foundation scholarship have.
