Nearing the Three Million Dollar Rider mark and National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) Hall of Famer, Tim McQuay is a true ambassador to one of the fastest growing equestrian sports in the world. McQuay was the first rider to reach $2 million in career earnings and lead the list of NRHA All-Time Leading Money Earners for 11 years.
He's won every major NRHA-sanctioned event, including the NRHA Futurity, the NRHA Derby, NRHA Superstakes, and the National Reining Breeders Classic.

Most recently, McQuay competed in the 2011 National Open Reining Championship Title during the Ariat Tulsa Reining Classic and rounded out in the top six. At the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, he and horse Hollywoodstinseltown owned by Dave & Bonnie Silva, won gold with the US Team and finished fourth individually. In 2008, McQuay won the coveted NRHA Futurity Championship on horse Shining N Sassy owned by Carol Rose.
In addition to competing, McQuay owns and operates McQuay Stables, a state-of-the-art Reining and Hunter & Jumper training, sales and breeding facility located in Tioga, Texas.
