Taking a cue from two of the most popular chapters in her book, Severn’s presentations are “It’s Never Too Late for Horses” and “Help! My Partner Hates Horses!”
“It’s Never Too Late for Horses” touches on the most common concerns of older riders: physical and mental requirements, fear, finances, and protecting our horses as we age. “Help! My Partner Hates Horses!” looks at some of the reasons for the lack of support for family and friends and techniques for winning them over (or at least reaching détente.)

My Partner Hates Horses” will be presented at 2PM at the Demo Ring in Mallary North. Fran will be greeting readers and signing copies of the book at the Trafalgar Square Publishing booth and the Taborton Books booths on Sunday before and after the presentations.
