Trail Horse Finalists to Compete

In April, the American Competitive Trail Horse Association (ACTHA) held auditions nationwide as a way to bring as much attention as possible, to the country’s fine and noble trail horse who has served this nation so magnificently.

Nearly 1000 horse and rider teams from all over the United States traveled to 24 audition locations held throughout 18 different states, to showcase their abilities and talents. One hundred of the top finalists were selected to go to the National Finals at the Franklin Family Ranch near Austin,Texas,on May 8th-12th, 2011.

The 100 finalists represented 36 states and 25 different breeds. They will all be competing for their share of $100,000! America’s Favorite Trail Horse will broadcast on HRTV available on Dish and cable.

Viewers will be able to cast their vote at www.actha.us for their favorite trail horse. The show will begin airing in 13 weekly one hour shows beginning September 13, 2011.

The support these finalists have received has been phenomenal. The heartwarming journeys of these amazing riders, is currently being published in various Regional Publications throughout the nation.

Each state is getting behind their own representative and showing their support. It’s going to be a great TV Series, so be sure to vote on your favorite.
