When we hear a comment more then a few times, we move on it,” stated company owner Georgette Topakas. “Last season we made a commitment to expand our fly repellent offerings, and an enhanced version of our current fly repellent was developed and tested. Our goal was to create a spray that not only stayed on the coat longer, but was natural and healthy for the horse.”
Staying true to its roots, the Pure & Simple PLUS Fly Repellent begins with a base of wormwood herb and apple cider vinegar. Added essential oils give it an extra bug repellent punch, and Grapeseed Oil provides longer ‘staying power’ on the coat. Zephyr’s Garden choice for the oil clearly reflects their commitment to using only healthy, human grade ingredients in their equine and canine products.
Product testers from California to Florida stated that the new repellent provided longer lasting fly prevention than the Pure & Simple Original Formula, gave their horse’s coat added luster, there was no product build up, and dust retention due to the added oil in the spray was minimal.
