FLAIR Announces Protect and Perform Awards for Rolex Kentucky

Flair LLC, maker of the FLAIR Equine Nasal Strip, is pleased to announce the creation of an annual $1500 FLAIR Protect & Perform Award for the 2014 Rolex Kentucky CCI4* Three-Day Event (RK3DE).

The FLAIR Protect & Perform Award will go to the highest placed finisher using a FLAIR Strip in both cross-country and stadium jumping and is a wonderful addition to our event.

The FLAIR Protect and Perform Award will be given to the highest-placed horse and rider pair using a FLAIR Strip during both the cross-country and stadium phases of the competition. The 2014 RK3DE will be contested April 24-27, 2014 at the Kentucky Horse Park, Lexington Kentucky.

In addition to the FLAIR Protect and Perform Award, Flair will continue to provide financial support to the Event itself.

Flair President Jim Chiapetta DVM JD said about the award, "With the addition of the FLAIR Protect & Perform Award, Flair looks forward to the opportunity to show our appreciation for the Rider who uses FLAIR Strips to protect the health and well-being of their equine partner's lungs, as well as continuing our sponsorship and support of The RK3DE, and the sport of Eventing and its competitors."

Also known as the Lexington Kentucky CCI4*, The RK3DE is one of only six four-star three-day events held throughout the world each year, is a pinnacle competition of the international sport of Eventing, and is sanctioned by the Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI) -- the governing body of international horse sport.
