Flair Congratulates Winning Thoroughbred Race Horses

Flair LLC, maker of the FLAIR® Equine Nasal Strip, would like to congratulate the 57 Thoroughbred race horses protected by FLAIR Nasal Strips, which have more than 68 Stakes races -- as of June 30, 2013.

The impressive group of FLAIR-protected Stakes winners is comprised of Thoroughbreds from North America, South Africa, Singapore and Jamaica.

The impressive group of FLAIR-protected Stakes winners  -- including 26 Graded Stakes winners and several new world record-setting and track records setting wins – was comprised of Thoroughbreds from North America, South Africa, Singapore and Jamaica.

In North America, Thoroughbreds protected by FLAIR Strips won 33-stakes races -- nine of them Graded -- including the $750,750.00 Santa Anita Derby (GI), won by GOLDENCENTS for trainer Doug O’Neill, the San Luis Rey (GII), won by BRIGHT THOUGHT – who set a new world record in doing so – for trainer Jorge Gutierrez, the Potrero Grande (GII), won by JIMMY CREED for Hall of Fame trainer Richard Mandella, and the $443,600.00 Churchill Downs (GII), won by DELAUNAY for owner Maggie Moss and trainer Tom Amoss. 

In Singapore, 22-stakes races have been won by horses protected with FLAIR Strips including the S$325,000.00 Aushorse Golden Horseshoe (GII) by WAR AFFAIR for trainer Mark Walker, the S$200,000.00 New Year Cup (GIII) won by LIZARRE for trainer Patrick Shaw, the S$150,000.00 Woodlands Classic Stakes (GIII) won by TENZING for trainer Cliff Brown and the S$150,000.00 Marsling Classic Stakes (GIII) won by FLYING FULTON for trainer Mark Walker. 

In South Africa, 12-Graded stakes races were won by horses protected with FLAIR Strips –- six of them Grade I -- including the R1,000,000.00 L’Ormans Queen’s Plate (GI) and the R750,000.00 Rising Sun Gold Challenge (GI) won by reigning champion and Horse of the Year VARIETY CLUB for trainer Joey Ramsden, the R2,000,000.00 Premiers Champions Challenge (GI), won by HEAVY METAL for trainer Sean Tarry, and the R1,500,000.00 Daily News 2000, won by VERCINGETORIX for trainer Mike De Kock.

In Caribbean racing, the JMD7,000,000 Jamaica Derby was won by PERFECT NEIGHBOUR at Caymanas Track for trainer Wayne DaCosta.
