GGT- Footing™ is proud to announce their relationship to The International Sport Horse of Palm Beach. The Equestrian Estates, which is the longtime home of the Palm Beach Dressage Derby World Cup qualifying competition, has been busy re- surfacing the arenas at the Loxahatchee Florida show facility over the past few months.
New high quality sand has been brought in and a custom blend of GGT- Footing™ textiles has been specifically created for the arenas.
International Horse Sport Palm Beach will continue the legacy of the Palm Beach Dressage Derby and the Dressage at the Equestrian Estates shows and will also offer a unique series of national and international shows, as well.
The Palm Beach Dressage Derby is a CDIW/CDIY and is a USEF High Performance Qualifying Competition for the 2011 Collecting Gaits Farm USEF National Grand Prix Championship as well as the 2011 Pan American Games. The Derby is also an Official Qualifying Competition for the USEF National Intermediaire I Championships, FEI North American Junior Young Rider, USEF National Junior, and Brentina Cup Championships.

The newly rearranged equestrian estates location will not only host Dressage Competitions, but will be home to many new equestrian venues as well.

By utilizing the GGT Butterfly Mat™ system, one can protect their horse’s joints and tendons from long term concussion and instability due to slippage from traditional footing surfaces.
The typical force of a striking hoof is absorbed by the mat this plays an important role in maintaining soundness.
The drainage holes in the mat allow for excess water to drain quickly, thus allowing arenas to be used quicker after a rain.
The GGT BUTTERFLY ™ design also has water retention system that minimizes respiratory damage due to dusty footings by capturing small amounts of water thru a cup design .The moisture is then released into the arena sand which not only helps with dust control, but reduces the need for watering in some instances.
