Kicking off the start of the 5* Eventing Season, Achieve Equine, LLC is pleased to announce the release of an exclusive new Limited Edition design: the 5-Star FLAIR® Strip. Designed to celebrate the dreams and aspirations of riders, owners, and trainers within all disciplines, the Strip fittingly debuted at Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event which concluded on April 30.

To recap “The Best Weekend All Year”, huge congratulations go out to Team FLAIR™ Rider Tamie Smith and Mai Baum, “Lexus”, for winning the CCI5*-L at the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event. They are the first USA pair to win in 15 years! Team FLAIR rider Phillip Dutton and Connaught were the last USA pair to win in 2008. Tamie and Lexus also won the 5* FLAIR™ Protect and Perform Award, which is awarded to the highest placed horse and rider combination who wore a FLAIR Strip during both the cross-country and jumping phases of the event. The second-place award went to Tom McEwen on JL Dublin and Team FLAIR Rider Liz Halliday-Sharp on Miks Master C finished third.

Cheers go out to Karl Slezak (CAN) and Hot Bobo, winners of the CCI4*-S, the Lexington 4*-S Perpetual Trophy, and the 4* FLAIR™ Protect and Perform Award. In second place was Tamie Smith on Solaguayre California and Sydney Elliot on QC Diamantaire finished third.

Emma Ford from World Class Grooming held educational sessions at the Walnut Ring during the event, which included grooming tips and a FLAIR Strip application demo with the help of “Huckleberry” featuring the new 5-Star Strip.

The weekend was one for the books! From their booth at the trade show, the Achieve Equine team got goosebumps watching the final rounds of jumping as the riders jumped double clear at the exciting event, and wishes to thank the many hands that go into putting on the #bestweekendallyear. From the team at EEI, the staff at the Kentucky Horse Park, the many volunteers to the grooms that care for the amazing athletes- thank you!
