Celox Veterinary™, is perfect for emergency and critical care hemorrhage cases, post surgical bleeding, as well as managing bleeding at trauma sites.

“Celox is effective, easy to use and is used on the battlefield today on some of the worst wounds imaginable,” says Andrew Grant, President of Bioniche Animal Health (global). “For veterinary clinics, the product is perfect for emergency and critical care hemorrhage cases, post surgical bleeding, as well as managing bleeding at trauma sites. It could be the difference between life and death and save the day in a major emergency event with significant injury.”

Celox Veterinary™ has application in all practice situations from emergency and critical care, routine surgery and first aid.

When mixed with blood, Celox forms a gel-like clot in just 60 seconds and stops arterial and venous hemorrhaging in less than three minutes, independent of the body’s normal clotting processes. It will also clot blood that contains anticoagulants such as heparin.

Celox Veterinary™ is available in granular form in single, 15 g sterile and sealed pouches. It is also sold in 8” x 8” sterile packed gauze squares or 5 ft. sterile packed gauze lengths.

Bioniche Animal Health was formed in 1979 in Canada as a privately owned company to develop vaccines and other pharmaceutical-based products for the management of animal diseases. Now a business unit of Bioniche Life Sciences Inc., a publicly listed biopharmaceutical company based in Belleville, Ontario, Canada (TSX: BNC and ASX: BNC), Bioniche Animal Health has marketing subsidiaries in Australia, Canada, Europe, and the United States.
