Zoetis has just released newly designed applicators for QUEST (moxidectin) and QUEST PLUS (moxidectin/praziquantel) Gel, making these effective equine deworming products easier to administer. QUEST and QUEST PLUS are now available in a shorter and wider applicator tube that better fits into the userâs hand and offers an ergonomic finger grip on the plunger.
New QUEST and QUEST PLUS Gel applicators have been redesigned for ease of use and fit better in the hands of horse owners for more-accurate dosing.
âQUEST and QUEST PLUS Gel are packaged to allow for easier administration for all users,â said Kenton Morgan, DVM, Equine Technical Services, Zoetis. âThe new design features a shorter tube, as well as a curved plunger to allow for steadier placement of the userâs thumb.â
In a recent survey of more than 110 horse owners, 82% of respondents said that the new design of the QUEST and QUEST PLUS applicator made it easier to administer.1
As a leader in horse health innovation, Zoetis is committed to the horse, and we are proud to offer an improved design to meet the needs of our customers, said Dr. Morgan.
QUEST and QUEST PLUS, are formulated to meet the seasonal needs of horses recommended by the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP). Easier administration of QUEST helps horse owners provide the only U.S. Food and Drug Administration-approved dewormer on the market that treats encysted small strongyles in a single dose, and QUEST PLUS has additional efficacy against tapeworms to help meet your seasonal needs.
