Reinsman Equestrian Products proudly welcomes world champion barrel racer Charmayne James to its team of professional riders with plans to introduce a complete line of saddles, tack, and signature products in 2014.

Charmayne James, 11-time world champion barrel racer, is a living legend. She was the first Million Dollar Cowgirl, winner of the most professional barrel racing championships, and holds the records for the most consecutive NFR qualifications at 19.

“We are proud to have Charmayne join our team.  She is one of the most influential personalities in the sport today”, said Mark Jemelka, Chief Operating Officer of Circle Y Saddles, Inc.

James won her first world title at the age of 14 aboard her phenomenal gelding Gills Bay Boy - better known as Scamper. Widely known for the remarkable run at the 1985 National Finals Rodeo in which Scamper’s bridle came apart at the start of the run, the pair completed a flawless pattern to win the round. The pair won 10 consecutive world titles after which Scamper was retired. James retired from competition in 2003 but teaches clinics throughout the country.

At the Denver WESA Market Jan. 10-14, 2014, Reinsman released six Charmayne James barrel racing saddles which will ship to dealer stores soon.  Currently in development are a complete line of tack and other signature products available in the spring of 2014. All of James’ products are designed to her distinct personal style and preferences.
