Safety Comes First and so does the Charles Owen 4Star Helmet.

The 4Star’s innovative design reaffirms Charles Owen’s dedication to safety and saving lives.  The 4Star is certified to the following safety standards :

  •  Kitemarked by the British Standard Institute to PAS 015:2011
  • CE certified to the European Directive and BSEN 1384:1997
  • Certified by the Safety Equipment Institute outside Washington DC to ASTM F1163:2004a
  • Certified by the Snell Memorial Foundation of California to Snell E2001

The Charles Owen 4Star helmet features the latest in safety technology and comfort including a deep fit to maximize head coverage. The tough outer shell of the helmet is reinforced with aramid fibers to improve crush resistance and enhance head protection.  In addition to an unparalleled high safety standard, the 4Star’s wearers can look forward to a 4Star comfortable fit.  The helmet sports a unique “Free Fit” system for increased air flow, as well as ten ventilation slots at the front and rear of the helmet to help riders keep their cool.

The helmet also boasts a GRpx™ technology harness with a high strength, quick-release alloy buckle in order to keep the helmet secure in the event of an accident or fall.

The Charles Owen 4Star is available in black or heat reflective silver in sizes 6 7/8 to 7 1/4.
