Peterson, a State Champion Roper and graduate of Montana State University (MSU), was a member of three Big Sky Champion Rodeo Teams, serving as Captain twice.  A four-time College National Finals Qualifier, he was the student director for the Big Sky Region while sitting on the national board of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association.

Peterson is also the former marketing director of Montana’s Copper Spring Ranch. Currently, he serves as Constituent Relations and Program Specialist at his alma mater.

Some of the Nebraska native’s accomplishments include:

  • 2013 Northern Rodeo Association Tie-Down Roping Average Champion,
  • Northern Rodeo Association Reserve Champion Tie-Down Roper (2012-13),
  • Two-time Northern Rodeo Association Reserve Champion All-Around Cowboy (2012-13).

Peterson spends most of his spare time rodeoing in the Northern Rodeo Association and Montana Pro Rodeo Circuits and has taken four trips to compete at the Northern Rodeo Association Finals, qualifying in 2013 for his first Professional Rodeo Cowboys Circuit Finals.

About the benefits of using FLAIR Strips, Peterson says, “I started using FLAIR Strips on my head horse because he has a hard time breathing…he became a much more calm horse and it was because of his increased ability to gain his air. I have seen a great improvement this summer and he really allowed me an opportunity to compete and win!”
