USRider, the national provider of emergency roadside assistance for equestrians, is proud to announce a new partnership with Ride Alert. The partnership will allow USRider to offer Ride Alert services and products to their members and provide USRider with another valuable tool to help protect its members while they are on the road.
Both Ride Alert and USRider are looking out for the welfare of horses and riders in emergency situations albeit in different, yet complementary ways.
Located in Orange, VA, Ride Alert provides a simple 24/7 online means to identify riders and their horses, and record medical and emergency contact details for later use by those that may need them, in the event of an accident or illness.
“As long-term members of USRider ourselves, we immediately saw the synergies between our two organizations” says David Hasbury-Snogles, President of Ride Alert “Both of us are looking out for the welfare of horses and riders in emergency situations albeit in different, yet complementary ways."
"When the opportunity to partner with USRider presented itself, we jumped at the chance because we could see how together we can offer a stronger and more comprehensive service to each of our members.
In an ideal world, no rider would ever have to call on Ride Alert (or USRider) for assistance, but unfortunately the real world is very far from ideal, which means the peace of mind we now afford our members is truly ‘priceless’.”
“We are excited about this new partnership with Ride Alert.” says Bill Riss, General Manager of USRider. “This relationship gives us the ability to offer the valuable services of Ride Alert to our members and help continue our mission of providing them with peace of mind while riding and traveling with their horses.” For more information about the USRider – Ride Alert program

The plan includes standard features such as flat-tire repair, battery assistance and lockout services, plus towing up to 100 miles and roadside repairs for tow vehicles and trailers with horses. In addition, USRider maintains a national database that includes emergency stabling, veterinary and farrier referrals if needed by its members.
