With this sponsorship, Vita Flex rewarded winning horse and rider combinations throughout the show series with its signature Vita Flex Victory Pass Award.

The Vita Flex Victory Pass Award represents Vita Flex’s dedication to turning “good” into “great,” and has been presented to select class winners for demonstrating excellent winning performances. Winning pairs received a bucket filled to the brim with popular Vita Flex performance products and an official Victory Pass Award ribbon for their accomplishments.

Although this was the first time that Vita Flex has brought its Victory Pass Award to the Colorado Horse Park, the award is already a popular prize at other elite show venues such as the Winter Equestrian Festival and Adequan Global Dressage Festival in Wellington, Florida.

U.S. Olympic Show Jumping Gold Medalist Will Simpson and his “once in a lifetime” ride, The Dude, received the Vita Flex Victory Pass Award for repeat victories in the $20,000 Open Welcome Stake and the $50,000 Horseware Ireland Grand Prix at the Colorado Horse Park this summer.

“The Dude is an amazing horse and he’s got a great future ahead of him,” Simpson complimented. “He’s a real competitor. He has always loved to go fast and jump high.” After winning the Vita Flex Victory Pass Award, Simpson stated, “I’m thankful to Vita Flex for the prize. The Dude and I are having a great time and feel right at home here at the Colorado Horse Park.”

Each Vita Flex Victory Pass Award recipient is treated to a Vita-Hoof conditioner dressing, Accel Lifetime health and wellness formula, Equinyl Combo with Hyaluronic Acid to aid in the inflammation that is associated with training and competition, and Thermaflex topical liniment solution for sore muscles.

Other Vita Flex Victory Pass Award winners throughout the 2016 Summer in the Rockies series included Rebecca Renier and Double Take, who won the $1,500 3’6 Amateur Owner Hunter Classic sponsored by Osphos.

Sioux Falls, South Dakota native Tami Sopinski took home the award with her horse Pegase De Thurgis for their victory in the $2,000 Low Adult Classic.

Lindsey Boesen piloted After the Laughter to earn the Vita Flex Victory Pass Award in the THIS National Children’s Medal class.

Alessandra Volpi and Felippa N took home the Victory Pass and blue ribbon for their win in the $4,000 North American League/Washington International Horse Show Children’s Classic.

Vita Flex also rewarded Brooke Cudmore and Cassin with the Victory Pass Award for their winning performance in the $10,000 Show Jumping Hall of Fame High Junior Medium/High Junior/Amateur Owner Classic.

The final Summer in the Rockies Vita Flex Victory Pass Award went to professional hunter and jumper trainer Janine Weatherby and her ride Kije’s Fancy for their winning rides in both the Performance Hunter 3’3 and Performance Hunter 3’3 Handy classes.

Weatherby holds a special place for Kije’s Fancy, having bred and raised the now six-year-old by her Grand Prix Holsteiner stallion, Lieutenant Kije. The young horse had changed hands early on in her show career, but recently made it back to training with Weatherby.

“Actually this was her first day back,” Weatherby said as she accepted the Vita Flex Victory Pass Award. “We carry some Vita Flex products at my store, The Paddock, in Omaha, Nebraska, so we definitely like them.” Already a fan of Equinyl Combo and AccuLytes paste, Weatherby was delighted to receive the Vita Flex Victory Pass Award as icing on the cake for her victories.
