83 Equines Get Good Homes

On Sunday, March 20th, 2011, 83 equines were offered at auction following foreclosure of the farm on which they were kept.  The auction was live at Meadow Wood Farm and also available on-line.

Equines sold included:

(10) Arabian Mares
(2) Arabian Stallions
(1) Male Baudet du Poitou Donkey (Mammoth French Donkey)
(7) Female Baudet du Poitou Donkeys (Mammoth French Donkey)

(15) Stallion Miniature Horses Including Brewer's Orion Replica

(25) Mare Miniature Horses
(8) Male Miniature Donkeys
(15) Female Miniature Donkeys

All animals are to be picked up and moved from the farm by April 10, 2011.  Animal rights people associated with the sale reported that all animals went to good homes.
